Stores will bring 200 total new jobs and mark the company’s 5th and 6th North Carolina locations

will open its first stores in Greenville (NC-11 S & Greenville Blvd.) and Jacksonville (Western
Blvd. & Henderson Rd.) later this year.

Academy Sports + Outdoors’ Greenville and Jacksonville stores will be nearly 63,000 square
feet and create approximately 100 jobs each. The new stores will provide similar services to the
existing North Carolina locations such as scope mounting, bore sighting, line winding/spooling,
propane exchange, racquet stringing and will sell hunting and fishing licenses along with local
team licensed apparel and novelty items.
