Academy Sports + Outdoors to expand in Oklahoma City with first store in Yukon/Mustang area
The new location at I-40 and Czech Hall Rd. will bring 100 total new jobs later this year
KATY, TEXAS (February 3, 2016) – Academy, Ltd. (d/b/a Academy Sports + Outdoors), a premier
sports, outdoor and lifestyle retailer, announced that it will open its newest store in Oklahoma
City off Interstate 40 and Czech Hall Road later this year.

The new location will be nearly 63,000 square feet and create approximately 100 new jobs. The
store will provide similar services to the existing Oklahoma City stores such as scope mounting,
bore sighting, line winding/spooling, propane exchange, racquet stringing and will sell hunting
and fishing licenses along with local team licensed apparel and novelty items.
